Yes — Consent Mode v2 is fully built in and enabled by default. Once a visitor makes a choice, CookieScan passes their consent state to Google Analytics, Google Ads and any other Google tags automatically.

Yes. CookieScan is a registered IAB CMP and supports the Transparency & Consent Framework v2.2 — useful if you work with ad networks or publishers that require a TCF-compliant CMP.

Yes. Every consent decision is logged with a timestamp, anonymised IP, the banner version shown, and the exact categories accepted or rejected. You can export the log as CSV for regulators or auditors.

You can trigger a scan any time from the dashboard. On paid plans you can also schedule automatic rescans — daily, weekly, or monthly — so new cookies are caught and categorised without any manual work.

Fully. Change colours, fonts, layout, position, corner radius, copy and more — all from the dashboard with a live preview. If you need deeper control, we expose CSS hooks for custom styling.

No. Our banner script is under 20kb gzipped, served from a global CDN, loaded asynchronously and non-blocking. It won’t hurt your Core Web Vitals or Lighthouse score.

Yes. We ship with 40+ languages out of the box and the banner auto-detects the visitor’s language. You can also override any string if you want to match your brand voice.

Yes. We publish an official CookieScan template in the GTM Community Gallery — add it, paste your ID, trigger it on Consent Initialization and you’re done.

CookieScan data is stored in EU-based data centres (Frankfurt) by default. Enterprise customers can request US-only or UK-only hosting.
